Homemade | Banana Nut Cake

7:00 AM

This is our third banana nut cake in two-ish weeks. I made one at my parents, one here (not as great as I think my oven is off- still eating!) & my mom also made one for our Phoenix trip last weekend... it's that good. My favorite way to eat it is toasting the pieces it in the oven first, and serving with butter. (A piece is in the oven right now).
See recipe below!
Blend first:
3 c sugar; or what I did, 1 c of sugar & 1/4 c of Stevia
2 sticks of butters; softened
3 eggs
6 ripe bananas
Then add:
1 1/2 t baking soda
3/4 t salt
1 1/2 c chopped nuts (I love walnuts or pecans)
3/4 c buttermilk
3 c flour
Bake in oven at 325 for 1 1/2 hours in bundt pan. Serve fresh, cooled, chilled or toast in oven with butter - it's all good!
