Do-It-Yourself // Bow Ring

Naturally when I saw this diy on Pinterest I squealed with excitement and soon after ran to the craft store to make my own. I may have handfuls of bow rings but something about making your own is just too good. I made a few more and proudly gave one to one of my bfs the other night. I wanted to give one to another but this ring is somewhat of a weapon (be careful of the points!) and I didn't want to be the reason one of her little girls have a scratch mark on their arm much (like I do). Either way, this ring is dainty and so cute and if you want to make one follow the link above or go straight to this perfect step-by-step picture.

What you need: Pliers, 6" of wire (I used 20 gauge), chaptick/lipstick tube

    1. Maybe you could curl the ends back into the wire...sort of like the end of an eyepin.

  9. So cute! You could use a nail file and file down the sharp edges so it isn't used as a weapon/torture divide ;)

  10. What about gluing a pretty little bead to the end of the points? You could do it in gold to blend in or a fun pop color like turquoise or coral. If you used super glue it might have a chance on staying on for a while, too!
